Our Story
Oak & Spur Outdoors was built on more than a passion for hunting. It was built on lifelong friendship, tradition, and a shared appreciation for authentic experiences in the outdoors.
Founders Nate and Grant met at just three years old in a small town in Michigan. From youth sports to competing with each other throughout high school athletics, their friendship was built through years of discipline, competition, and loyalty. That same foundation still drives everything behind Oak & Spur today.
After high school, Nate attended Ferris State University to study finance, while Grant attended Cleveland State University where he competed at the Division I collegiate wrestling level while studying economics. Though their paths looked different, both shared the same mindset - work hard, stay grounded, and build something meaningful.
Oak & Spur Outdoors was created from a desire to bring purpose back to the outdoor space. For us, hunting has never only been about the harvest. It’s about the stories behind the hunt, the early mornings with friends and family, the traditions passed down through generations, and the memories created along the way. Every experience outdoors carries meaning, and we believe those moments deserve to be honored.
That philosophy is woven into everything we do.
